Weymouth House
Oh how I miss Weymouth House of Pizza. Actually, it is one of the only things I miss about living in Weymouth. Their pizza is so good, Greek style. You can’t get that in Marshfield even though we have about 10 or more pizza places. Dh and I were in the area and were hungry so we decided to stop at one of our old stomping grounds. It’s a small, mostly takeout place but they’ve changed the inside a bit. The two walls that were around the doorway have been taken down and it seems as though there’s more seating. We sat in a sort of booth while we waited for our slices. Dh got 2 slices of pepperoni and I got one. We each had a drink, water for me and seltzer for him. They have a much bigger cooler now with a huge drink selection. The menu is large. You can get the usual pizza, subs, salads and then some other dishes such as plates of things (chicken or beef kabobs) that smelled great with rice. Our old friend was still working there and we said hello. Service is always quick and friendly.
Across the street is Ellie’s. Ellie’s is a wine shop that also has beer. The owner, Ellie is so nice and her husband owns Weymouth House! They have so many options of wine from all over the world. She is very helpful if you need suggestions. Ellie also has a couple big tastings each year. They usually have a ton of food to help soak up the wine. We haven’t been in a while since we no longer can walk home, but if you live close it’s definitely worth while.
Unfortunately the blog is not cooperating with me with uploading pics so you won’t be able to see my huge slice of pizza. Sorry about that. If you’re really interested you can google Weymouth House of pizza. There are some pics of the place and some of the food options on google.
