Anna’s Harborside
Back when we still lived in MA, I made a reservation at Anna’s Harborside for mother’s day about 2 weeks in advance. https://www.annasharborsidegrille.com/ They sent me a text when I reserved and also the day of. I thought that was nice. We got there just about 11am. There was a little confusion trying to find a spot for us and putting the tables together. Eventually they got it together under the bartender’s direction. We were greeted shortly there after and asked for our drink orders. Apparently they have no paper menus. This was fine for my husband and I, but we had to show our moms and their significant others how to use the QR codes. We got 2 mimosas, 2 Irish coffees, one regular coffee and one bloody Mary. Drinks were all good. Then things started to go downhill. After half an hour my mother called the waitress over and asked where our food was. I told her not to give the girl a hard time and order another drink. Then another half hour went by. That’s when I started to wonder when we were going to eat. I mean, it’s not like we ordered anything complicated. It’s eggs. How hard can it be? The waitress said there were a lot of people outside. I barely saw any food go out of the kitchen but maybe they have another door outside. Just after an hour of waiting our food arrived. We got a cheese omelette, western omelette, 2 breakfast sandwiches, eggs benedict and a bacon and cheese omelette. When we ordered, we asked if all meals came with home fries. She said yes. Two of the omelets ended up coming out with toast instead of home fries. We ended up sharing our extra home fries rather than wait for new ones to come out. I think the waitress got confused as my mom wanted toast as well. She must have substituted it but no clue what happened with my mother in laws. The food was good. Other than the lackluster service, it was a good choice. I’d go back another day when they have more help. It’s on the water in Plymouth, a nice spot.
