China Wok
I’ll start by saying we’ve lived in Marshfield for 5 years and this was our first trip to China Wok. What were we thinking? On a cold Friday night during the pandemic we were feeling like Chinese and didn’t want to sit inside a restaurant. We decided to try the China Wok on route 139. I called for take out and the woman on the phone said 15 minutes. I got there probably at exactly 15 minutes and she was just packing everything up. They had the door blocked off with a table so when you get there you have to stand in the doorway and say what your order was. The phone was ringing off the hook. She brought my food over and I gave her my credit card. She gave me my food and I was shocked by how heavy the bag was. We got an order of veggie lo mein and a pupu platter for 2. We did one sub as neither of us like fried shrimp. So we got extra crab rangoons. When I tell you there was enough food for 4 people I am not kidding. We had so many leftovers. The pupu platter comes with beef terriaki, chicken teriyaki, egg rolls, fried shrimp, crab rangoons, chicken wings, chicken fingers and beef spare ribs. We pretty much loved everything. My favorite were the chicken wings. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about were the chicken fingers as there was a lot of batter. We will definitely be ordering from here again soon. I can’t believe it’s taken us this long.
