Breakfast at Victoria’s
Dh, mom and I went to Breakfast at Victoria’s for mother’s day. I made a reservation a week or two beforehand. When we arrived we had to wait a bit to be seated as the staff was running around. They were very busy at 10:30am. Once seated we were greeted and asked for our drink orders. My mom had a mimosa. I had a bellini and dh had a coffee. Then we put in our food order. Mom got 2 eggs with bacon, toast and fruit. I got a croissant bacon egg and cheese which also had thinly sliced ham. It came with potatoes. Dh got the breakfast of pancakes, eggs and bacon. Everything was very tasty. Service was very slow but they were friendly and really busting their butts. The couple that owns the place is Italian and we had a brief conversation with the wife in Italian. The husband was the chef. Unfortunately, shortly there after they ended up closing this location in Sarasota and moved to Anna Maria Island. That would be a long trek for breakfast. But, if you happen to be on AMI, I’d suggest giving them a try.
