Brewery trip to St. Pete
Dh and I decided to do a little summer road trip to St. Pete since we’ve exhausted the breweries here in Sarasota. Our first stop was 3 Daughter’s Brewing. They had the AC jacked up inside which was good since it was pretty toasty outside. I had their blonde ale and dh had a flight. We ordered a pretzel which was very good. Then dh got a second flight which I helped him drink. They have a lot of good beers. We got a six pack to go. They have both cold and room temp six packs. While we were there they had some live music going on in the open part of the brewery where the tanks are. Since it was so warm we just poked our heads in.
Our second stop was Cage Brewing which was a quick drive around the corner. This was a smaller spot with less beers. They had a covered outdoor spot then an indoor spot with fans going that was still open to the outside if that makes sense. I had their blonde ale as well. It was pretty good.
After that we walked across the street to Pinellas Ale Works (PAW). There were lots of people with dogs there. The glasses were cute with paw prints. I had a stout there. We also got some nachos from the food truck outside. They were really good with pulled pork. This is a great spot to go if you have well behaved dogs…which I do not. I’m not sure if they do beer crawls here but it would be a good spot to do so. If you’re in St. Pete, check out these three breweries.
